My Home

When you first login to your course, you are presented with the My Home page which is a central portal containing:

• The Welcome box – The Welcome area may contain specific links that allow you to customize your preferences, input an external email address, change your password and create your own personal homepage.
• The Updates box – The Updates area provides a summary of new discussion board posts are available for you to read. Other update categories may appear here as well. The updates section is useful because you can get a quick, at-a-glance update on new items in your course.
• The Resources box – The Resources area lists various sources of help.
• The News box – The News area lists college wide postings.
• The My Northwest Technical College Courses box – The My NTC Courses area contains all your courses. To view a course, expand all [+] signs and click on your course.
