BEMIDJI, Minn. (Jan. 12, 2010) — The Outdoor Program Center at Bemidji State University has several activities scheduled for the end of January, including a weekly shuttle to the Buena Vista Ski Area beginning on Jan. 15 and a course on ski and snowboard waxing on Jan. 27.
Friday, Jan. 15; Friday, Jan. 22; Friday, Jan. 29
5-8 p.m. - Free shuttle to the Buena Vista Ski Area departs from the lobby of Bemidji State’s Gillett Recreation and Fitness Center at 5 p.m.; returns to the center at 8 p.m. Call (218) 755-2999 to confirm times.
Wednesday, Jan. 27
7-9 p.m. - Ski/Snowboard Waxing – Bring your skis or snowboard to the OPC for a waxing clinic. Course held at the OPC Boathouse in Bemidji’s Diamond Point Park.
Thursday, Jan. 28
3-5 p.m. - Ice Fishing Clinic – Experience ice fishing on Lake Bemidji with the OPC staff. Participants will meet at the OPC Boathouse in Bemidji’s Diamond Point Park. Please dress appropriately.
Saturday, Jan. 30
3-5 p.m. - Cross Country Skiing Lesson - Learn the basics of cross-country skiing. Course takes place at the OPC Boathouse in Bemidji’s Diamond Point Park.
